Empowered Tech High School (formerly Bridge Gate High School) serves grades 9-12 in Columbus, Ohio as a tuition-free public charter school, rebranding in 2025 around a comprehensive, career-focused curriculum built with families and the community.

In its inaugural year as Empowered Tech, the school graduated its first 6 seniors while making real strides in attendance and school culture, growing a hands-on Career Technical Education program that now includes Business & Leadership, Health (CNA), and a new Cybersecurity pathway.

Today, small class sizes, free tutoring, technology-focused classrooms, and staff who speak Somali and Spanish help Empowered Tech build genuine relationships with every student and family it serves.
